2007 Fantasy League


Standing as of July 15th 2007

General Rules:

• Covers the entire season
• Excludes interclub matches
• HCC roster players are eligible to enter but team score will not count unless entrant plays a minimum of 3 games during the season. Prize for HCC roster players outlined below
• All other entrants are eligible to compete for the additional prize outlined below
• Late fantasy league joiners will have their seasons lowest weekly team score count towards weeks missed. Cannot miss more than 50% of the seasons games

Team Selection:

• Select 8 players from the HCC roster. One of the players must be yourself if you are on the HCC roster
• 3 players can be exchanged in early July "Trade Week". Cumulative points for exchanged players are retained, new players earn points from trade week to end of season

Scoring:

• All fantasy team players eligible to earn appearance, batting, bowling and catching points

Appearance Points

• 5 points for each player playing in a weekly HCC match

Batting Points

• 5 points for each player scoring greater than and equal to 10 runs and less than 20 runs in an innings
• 10 points for each player scoring greater than and equal to 20 runs and less than 35 runs in an innings
• 20 points for each player scoring greater than and equal to 35 runs in an innings

Bowling Points

• 5 points per wicket

Catching Points

• 5 points per catch (wicketkeeper catches included)

Prizes:

• First place from players on the HCC roster wins a cricket bat
• First place of all other entrants wins a prize to be determined by the HCC committee
